CCOM Clinic Policies and Patient Guidelines
Payment Options
The CCOM Clinic accepts major credit cards. To support smooth check-in and check-out, our clinic primarily operates as a cashless environment.
We do not accept personal checks and are unable to bill insurance providers. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
We don’t have change for cash payments.
Late Arrivals & Cancellations
While schedules can change, to ensure access for all patients, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in being limited to same-day scheduling.
Discount Eligibility
To support accessibility and community wellness, the CCOM Clinic offers reduced rates to:
- Adults aged 60 and above
- Veterans and active-duty military personnel
- College students with a valid student ID
If you qualify, please let our reception team know before your appointment so the appropriate rate can be applied.
Food & Beverages
To maintain a clean, calm, and comfortable clinic environment, we ask visitors to refrain from eating or drinking in treatment spaces or the waiting area.
Children in the Clinic
Children under 18 must remain under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian at all times while in the clinic.
At this time, the CCOM Clinic does not provide treatment for children younger than 15. Families seeking pediatric care are welcome to request referrals.
Pets & Service Animals
For health and safety reasons, only trained service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted inside the clinic.
Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not permitted.
Herbal Pharmacy Policies
Our on-site teaching pharmacy provides high-quality herbal formulas in raw and pill forms.
Because of safety and handling requirements for ingestible products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on herbal products, whether opened or unopened. Once dispensed, the full cost of the herbal prescription remains the patient’s responsibility..
Thank You for Supporting a Teaching Clinic
The CCOM Clinic functions as both a community care setting and a training environment for student interns. Your cooperation with clinic policies helps ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive experience for patients, students, and supervising clinicians.
We appreciate your partnership in this mission.
